“Using The Kids?” – Prince Harry 'Furious' As Meghan Shares Archie And Lilibet In Netflix Promo, Expert Claims

Prince Harry is reportedly “extremely annoyed” with Meghan Markle’s decision to feature their children, Archie and Lilibet, in promotional content for her latest Netflix series—despite their long-standing commitment to protecting their privacy.

The Duchess of Sussex, who has typically kept their children out of the spotlight, raised eyebrows this week after sharing images of Archie and Lilibet to promote the second season of With Love, Meghan. The photos—though carefully framed to conceal the children’s faces—include a shot of Archie holding a clapperboard and Lilibet perched in a director’s chair.

Inside the New Season

The second installment of With Love, Meghan, which debuted last week, offers a glimpse into the Sussexes’ California lifestyle. Shot inside their Montecito home, the series features Meghan cooking family recipes with celebrity guests including Chrissy Teigen and Tan France.

But the family-friendly, behind-the-scenes tone has sparked controversy, with royal biographer Hugo Vickers warning that Meghan’s use of their children could have long-term consequences—not just for her image, but for the children themselves.

Royal Expert: “Harry Should Be Furious”

Vickers, a veteran royal historian and author, didn’t hold back in a recent interview.

“He ought to be extremely annoyed,” he said of Prince Harry. “Obviously, I don’t know exactly what he thinks, but I suspect he does what he’s told.”

More strikingly, Vickers expressed concern about how Archie and Lilibet may view their media exposure as they grow up.

“What worries me more is what the children themselves will think when they’re older—and realize how they’ve been exploited.

They’ll also come to realize they’ve never met their grandfathers and that they have cousins in England living very different, very public lives.”

What’s Next for With Love, Meghan?

While the second season has just launched, a third season has yet to be confirmed. The series is part of Meghan’s newly announced Netflix content deal, revealed in August, following the expiration of the Sussexes’ original $100 million partnership with the streaming giant.

Public Divided

The move has reignited debate over how the Sussexes balance their claims to privacy with their growing media ventures. Supporters argue Meghan is simply sharing her story on her own terms, while critics view the inclusion of Archie and Lilibet—however subtle—as a calculated marketing decision.

As With Love, Meghan continues to climb the streaming charts, one question lingers: At what point does personal storytelling cross into royal exploitation?
