Prince Harry’s Wife Celebrated His 41st Birthday With A Throwback Tribute

Meghan Markle celebrated Prince Harry’s 41st birthday with a heartfelt Instagram tribute, sharing a throwback photo of her husband in a green flying uniform. Captioned simply, “Oh hi, Birthday Boy,” the snap was taken in 2015 when Harry flew in a Spitfire to mark the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

The historic event, held on Harry’s 31st birthday, featured the largest gathering of Battle of Britain aircraft since World War II. A total of 33 Spitfires, Hurricanes, and Bristol Blenheim bombers took off from Goodwood Aerodrome in West Sussex before dispersing across southern England.

Harry was originally scheduled to fly in one of four two-seater Spitfires but gave up his seat to 95-year-old Tom Neil, a former wing commander and veteran Battle of Britain pilot, after one aircraft suffered mechanical issues.

Now, a decade later, the Duke is marking his 41st birthday with Meghan and their children, Archie and Lilibet. The Duchess hinted at a cozy celebration by posting another Instagram snap featuring two wine glasses with the caption: “When your beau is back in town…”

Harry recently spent four days in the UK, meeting with charities and sharing a private tea with his father, King Charles, at Clarence House. The pair met on Wednesday evening, with Harry spotted arriving just after 5:20 p.m. and leaving an hour later. He is also expected to take part in an Invictus Games–related engagement.

Following his UK visit, Harry traveled to Kyiv on a surprise trip with his Invictus Games Foundation team, responding to an invitation from the Ukrainian government. He expressed his commitment to supporting injured military personnel, saying he wanted to do “everything possible” to aid their recovery.
