U.S. president Donald Trump was met with boos and chants of “Free DC! Free Palestine! Trump is the Hitler of our time!” while dining at a Washington, D.C., restaurant.

Videos circulating online show Trump approaching the demonstrators inside the restaurant, stopping just a few feet away. He nodded and smiled but did not respond verbally. Moments later, he gestured for security to intervene, reportedly saying, “Come on, let’s go.”

Secret Service agents then escorted the protesters out as they waved Palestinian flags. Some diners booed the protesters, while others chanted “U-S-A! U-S-A!” in support of Trump.

Code Pink, a feminist anti-war activist group, later claimed responsibility for the demonstration.

“While Trump, JD Vance, Marco Rubio, Pete Hegseth and others feasted at a steakhouse, we stood our ground and told them the truth: Free DC. Free Palestine. Trump is the Hitler of our time,” the group posted on social media.
