Rapper and cannabis entrepreneur Wiz Khalifa says marijuana isn’t just a lifestyle—it’s part of his daily routine for focus and productivity.
Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the Black and Yellow hitmaker revealed he smokes around 30 joints a day, claiming it helps him manage everything from fatherhood to fitness.
“Someone explained it really well the other day,” Khalifa said. “You smoke, and then challenge yourself to do normal things throughout the day… I enjoy it.”
Khalifa, who rose to fame in the mid-2000s and later scored a global hit with See You Again, explained that his marijuana use started in his teens while recording music in the studio.
“It was just part of the environment,” he recalled. “Over time, it became something that helped me get through a lot.”
Despite the heavy consumption, the Pittsburgh native insists it hasn’t slowed him down. “I’ve got things to do,” he told Kimmel. “I work out, I’ve got kids—I do a lot of different things.”
Khalifa’s comments come amid ongoing shifts in marijuana legislation across the U.S. The interview was filmed in California, where recreational cannabis use is legal for adults 21 and older.
For Khalifa, it seems the high life is also a highly functional one.
