President Donald Trump has called for the ‘immediate evacuation of Tehran’ and branded Iran ‘foolish’ for not signing a deal with the US on its nuclear program before Israeli strikes began.

Trump said in a post on Truth Social: ‘Iran should have signed the deal I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life.

‘Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran.’

The warning comes as the war between the arch foes enters its fifth day and Israel ramps up attacks aimed at destroying Iran’s contested nuclear work.

Israel killed Iran’s highest-ranking military officer

Earlier this morning, Israel announced that it had assassinated Iran’s top military commander just days after his predecessor was killed in strikes. 

The IDF said its jets killed Ali Shadmani, Iran’s highest-ranking military officer and chief war commander who was considered to be the closest person to Iranian supreme leader, Ali Khamenei.

Will U.S. join Israel to fight Iran?

Israeli media reports that the Trump administration is preparing to join an attack on Iran ‘if President Donald Trump gives it the green light.’

An unidentified official told i24 News that even though the Secretary of Defense typically makes the decisions, it was Trump, himself, who approved the implementation of plans to deploy forces in the Middle East.

The source also claimed that ‘US Central Command thinks it should join, but there are senior officials in the administration who are currently opposing the move.’
