A popular California fitness influencer and her date were shot and killed by her estranged husband in a shocking act of violence, before the gunman was fatally shot by an off-duty deputy, authorities said.
Gloria Zamora, 40, a mother of seven with over 150,000 Instagram followers, and her date, 43-year-old Hector Garduno, a father of four, were gunned down Saturday night, June 21, in the parking lot of Summa Sushi in Fontana.

Combined, the couple leaves behind 11 children.
According to police, Zamora’s estranged second husband, Thomas Alberto Tamayo Lizarraga, opened fire on the couple — just days after Zamora revealed on her podcast HERizon that she was leaving him.
Several off-duty law enforcement officers were nearby when the gunfire broke out.
One off-duty San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputy, driving by the shopping center, witnessed the incident, made a U-turn, and confronted the shooter.
The deputy shot and killed Lizarraga at the scene. His identity has not been released.
