Nigerian actor and filmmaker Yul Edochie has ignited a wave of controversy on social media after posting a strongly worded message aimed at those he claims unfairly criticized him in the past.

“All the fools that were attacking me for matter wey no concern them, they’re all suffering now,” he wrote. “Some have lost their careers. Some are still looking for husbands with no luck. Some don’t even know whether they’re male or female. Some are begging online.”

He asserted that their struggles are a consequence of unjustly attacking him, adding, “You will continue to suffer until you apologize to me for fighting me when I did nothing to you.”

Edochie also issued a broader warning to others, urging them to avoid meddling in matters that don’t concern them. “You will destroy yourself if you don’t mind your business,” he wrote. “When bad things start happening to you, know that you brought it upon yourself. Some people are special to God.”

The post concluded with his signature phrase, “ISI MMILI JI OFOR!”—a reference to his self-proclaimed spiritual or cultural significance.
