The £7,000 Reminder Of Prince William That Princess Kate Always Wears

Much has changed in Princess Kate’s life since Prince William proposed to her in 2010 with Princess Diana’s iconic sapphire engagement ring.

Given the ring’s £390,000 value and emotional significance, it’s understandable that the Princess of Wales doesn’t wear it every day—particularly during lower-key appearances, like her recent video for the Scouts.

Instead, Princess Kate often opts for a meaningful collection of rings that quietly honour her relationship with William, most notably her elegant eternity ring stack, which has become a signature part of her style.

The Story Behind Kate’s Eternity Ring Stack

Maxwell Stone, leading diamond expert at UK jeweller Steven Stone, estimates the total value of her stack at around £7,200.

“Although she’s been seen wearing her engagement ring less frequently in recent months, the Princess continues to show her love and commitment to Prince William through other jewellery choices,” Stone explained.

A Gift to Mark a Major Milestone

The most significant piece in Kate’s ring stack is her cherished eternity ring, gifted by Prince William to celebrate the birth of their first child, Prince George.

Crafted from 18-carat white gold with a high-polish finish and set with 0.23 carats of diamonds, the ring is valued at around £1,500, according to Stone.

As a devoted mother of three, Princess Kate’s choice to wear the ring so often is a touching reflection of her family values—qualities that have made her one of the most beloved figures in the royal family.

The ring serves as a daily reminder not only of her enduring romance with Prince William but also of the special bond they share with their children.
