Dolph Lundgren is sharing the heartfelt “secret” behind the success of his marriage to 29-year-old wife, Emma Krokdal. The 66-year-old Rocky IV star, who married Norwegian fitness expert Emma in 2023, revealed a simple yet meaningful gesture that keeps their bond strong.

In a candid interview with Fox News, Dolph explained: “I have this new thing—I make sure to give her a hug, a nice big hug, 10 times a day.”

He added with a laugh, “I try to get a few before lunch, so I’ve got some in the bank for the rest of the day. It sounds simple and a little goofy, but it neutralizes a lot of disagreements and makes us both feel good. That’s my new recipe.”

Dolph, who became an American citizen alongside Emma last year, believes that these small but consistent actions have been key to their happy marriage. “When you have disagreements, somebody wants to be right, but the other person also wants to be right,” he said. “But you have to make your partner feel good, even when you disagree.”

Echoing the old adage, Dolph smiled and added, “‘Happy wife, happy life’—it’s true. You have to respect each other. You have to compliment each other.”

Despite the 38-year age gap, their relationship continues to thrive, proving that for them, age is just a number.
