Severe violence erupted on London’s longest street over the weekend as a man brandishing a machete engaged in a brawl.

A crowd gathered around a white car on Edgware Road in the capital, where two men were observed closely watching its movements. The driver of the white vehicle, adorned with an eagle sticker, then appeared to attempt to drive into the group of pedestrians.

The assailants proceeded to assault the car, seemingly attempting to forcibly remove the driver from the front seat.

In footage seemingly recorded yesterday afternoon, screams echoed in the background. At one point, one of the suspects thrusts a weapon through the open window, while onlookers attempting to intervene are violently pushed back.

Subsequently, an individual is seen trying to separate the assailants from the car. As this happens, the driver exits his vehicle and retrieves a large machete from the boot, proceeding to attack the men gathered around.

As the altercation moves away from the vehicle, the brawl ensues, with the armed man swinging at pedestrians. Rather than fleeing, one individual appears to seek an opportunity to confront the assailant wielding the large blade.

Social media users were shocked by the footage, with one saying: “This is too much. The streets are not safe. Total lawlessness.”
