Selena Gomez puts on a VERY leggy display after addressing her reaction to Chris Brown

Selena Gomez put on a dazzling display in a structured black blazer over a thigh-skimming skirt and black belt, which featured silver-tone grommets on it.

While strutting around New York City in an eye-catching ensemble, from Monse’s fall/winter 2023 runway collection, the pop star, 31, appeared in high spirits as she showed off her toned legs after going viral for her reactions to Chris Brown‘s name being read aloud at the MTV VMAs.

The calm & composed look

She looked calm and composed on her latest sighting as social media users dissected her disgusted expression at hearing the rapper was nominated in the Best R&B category from last night.

In response to iHeartRadio AU sharing an Instagram video of Gomez sneering at Brown’s name, the two-time Grammy nominee commented: ‘Who cares lol.’

She also raised eyebrows for looking confused and somewhat scared during Olivia Rodrigo’s performance as the 20-year-old faked a huge stage malfunction as a nod to her music video for Vampire.

In response to the online discussions about her, Gomez also took to Instagram to write: ‘I will never be a meme again. I’d rather sit still than be dragged for being myself. Much love.’

The Only Murders in the Building actress appeared to hit back at fans making her nervous expression during Olivia’s performance into a meme, which began lighting up social media.

The Driver’s License singer was the second performer of the night, behind Lil Wayne, singing her new hit track Vampire on stage at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

After the song started to pick up, Rodrigo stood up, as pyrotechnics went off all around her, which appeared to startle the singer, as fake tree branches and a red drape fell from the stage, as a VMA stagehand quickly ushered her off the stage.

Selena looked distraught

As she was whisked off stage, Selena even looked quite distraught, as the stage went dark, briefly cutting to her hit song Good For U before she started performing another new hit, Get Him Back, flanked by a number of pink-clad singers-dancer.

While the staged disruption seemed to worry Gomez, many of the fans were not so fooled on social media.

‘Olivia Rodrigo really traumatized Selena Gomez with her fake stage malfunction during her performance… Selena ain’t ever going to an awards show again,’ said Twitter user @sweeterheavens.
